I already want to re-read this lovely fairytale of a story! It just feels like home!

3.5 ⭐️

This was a cute read, though at times it felt like it was dragging and it could’ve been a few pages shorter than it was, AND got so damn annoyed he didn’t leave with her bc wtf brother?? Still enjoyed it and found myself giggling at times ngl

i find that this happens with every ashley poston book, where the magical realism ending always falls a bit flat. like i was hoping this book would feel a bit more like one last stop, where there was some big magical ending. however i enjoyed the world that was built & i’m not even that mad about the
anders being the authors ex of it all
do i rlly believe these two love each other, no, but that’s okay! fun read!

This was a fun and cute read that flew by. The premise was really intriguing but the execution was a little bit shallow. I kept getting annoyed at the FMC for her decisions and interactions, but I didn't necessarily hate her; I just didn't vibe with her. I was especially frustrated with how she ignored the root problem she foresaw in her relationship with the MMC, and then made assumptions without speaking to him about the issue. I also wish there was more depth to the side characters. The overall feel of the book was very nostalgic and cute, so it was still a fun read. I especially liked the character growth in both main characters as a result of their time in this town.

I really enjoyed this! The thought of stumbling into your favorite story and meeting all the characters and being in the town you love is such a cool concept! The story itself kept me entertained and I had no issues with. The romance did fall a little short for me but it was an enjoyable read and I definitely want to check out more from this author!

Solid 3.5. I didn’t love it like her other two but it was still decent. The kissing parts were the best parts, tbh. The ending was…only ok. I’ll still read anyyyything Poston writes though.
