booktok is my enemy

Elsy sucked. Anders sucked. Every chapter told you multiple times his eyes were minty. Every chapter told you his hair was either golden blonde or white blonde depending on the sun… no nopity nope nope nope. No chemistry and the interactions were cringe at best. The twist is completely predictable. He basically leaves her to follow a lookalike of his dead fiancé and she’s like “go get her tiger”, again cringe. Then just takes him back 6-12 months later like nothing happened? Liam also deserved a lot worse of an ending. This is a hard pass.

i loved this! it’s grumpy x sunshine and a book about a book (underrated trope) i think the details and writing from this book was great and easy to enjoy
*audiobook*

I did not like this as much as Seven Year Slip but it was still good! I wish there were more scenes with Anders than the people in the town though. Honestly, I didn’t care about them that much 😭
