So the thing I learned about aroace people is that they have to use others to find out? C'mon girl, this had potential. The plot was her finding out her sexuality, okay, but there were so many useless things. Rooney and Jason were the only main characters who were thinking at least a little bit rationally.

fucking adore this book. I've never heard the aroace experience described more accurately than here. This friend group genuinely made me cry, platonic friendship is so important and underrated and this book captured this perfectly. I absolutely adore everyone's dynamic.

This was an incredible book. I have been in a reading slump the last couple of months, and this book got me right back into the love of reading. Her experience of uni was very relatable (I don’t like clubbing either, and I don’t socialise very easily either). And this was a very educational read too! I knew about aro and ace, but this was very insightful about how it actually is.
Alice Oseman is an author who writes very inclusive and relatable books and I just want mooooooore!

I forgot to update my GoodReads once again. I guess I should start by thanking the amazing Alice Oseman for writing this book, I can’t even begin to describe how much it meant to me to read about an aro ace main character.

To me the book was super relatable, but aside from that the story was entertaining, wholesome and enjoyable. This book had my crying both sad and happy tears. I can’t wait to see what Alice Osemans other novels are like!
