When they find each other again and get a second chance together? It was just meant to be.
Isabella is still dealing with the aftermath about finding out the truth about her father and being a part of his second family.
She’s starting to find her place with all her “new” siblings and finding out that they really mean well with her.
Weston is being a protective brother, having been the one to raise his younger siblings when their parents died. It was the right thing for him to do, his only regret leaving Isabella behind.
I don’t know how Miss Ryan does it, but with each book, she wrecks me even more. And I love her for it. She brings out all of my emotions, I’m always so captivated by her stories, it is so hard to put them down. And then I blame life for being in the way of my reading…

Weston Caldwell and Isabella Cage Dixon had 2 intense months of chemistry, heat, and planning for a future together. Weston is forced to leave Isabella and his plans of a future with her when his parents die in an accident, and he takes over his father's auto shop and raising his younger siblings. Isabella works for Cage Industries as a forensic accountant but has closed heart to love since Weston walked away all those years ago. When Isabella is attacked and her brothers learn her stalker has been released from prison, she is sent to Cage Lake for her protection. Will Isabella and Weston finally sit down and discuss what happened all those years ago? Will Weston and Isabella give into the chemistry and heat that still exists between them? Will Isabella realize she likes Cage Lake more than living in the city? Will Weston get to Isabella in time when her stalker shows up in Cage Lake? I absolutely loved An Unexpected Everything by Carrie Ann Ryan. Weston and Isabella are a great couple with scorching hot chemistry. I love how the Caldwell clan welcomes Isabella into the fold with open arms. The small town gossip is great and had this reader laughing out loud. I would highly recommend getting An Unexpected Everything and the other book in The Cage Family series by Carrie Ann Ryan. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

The adventure with the Cage siblings continues with ‘An Unexpected Everything’ and this time we have Isabella’s story. We know a little of her past from previous books in this series. I mean she’s Aston’s sister and Aston’s girlfriend, Blakely’s best friend. We know she’s a strong, dependable, loyal woman who went from being the ‘eldest’ child to being one of many children. She’s slowly adjusting to getting to know the new brothers she never knew about. Everything she knew before is based on a lie and the one person she could always count on, her mother, was hiding the biggest lies. Life is slowly returning to a new normal. Picking up right where the previous book ended, we learn more of her mysterious rescuer. Eight years ago he had been her everything. Then he left without a word, broke her heart and left her in pieces. Now life keeps pushing them together. A fabulous second chance romance that will shake you up and melt your heart.

The story begins with Weston and Isabella.
He’s the only one that’s called her “Bella”. They loved each other but Weston left a note and ended their relationship.
Eight years later she finds out why.
Only because she had to return to the town where it started due to a stalker that was just released from jail. But now she’s got more brothers to deal with after finding out her dad had a total separate family.
And now that he’s deceased, Bella, her siblings and new found siblings have to meet periodically due to his will. This story keeps moving along and very entertaining. Don’t forget to get the bonus content at the end of the story.

Audio Review
Dual narration by Emma Wilder and Teddy Hamilton
This was such a beautifully written, second-chance romance. Weston and Isabella were meant for one another and 8 years ago they had a whirlwind romance that ended abruptly. When they cross paths again in Cage Lake and the sparks are still flying, it doesn’t take long for them to realize they still have feelings. I appreciated how this story stayed in the present and didn’t flip between past and present. This story had all the feels, heartfelt, spicy romance, great banter, big messy family dynamics, undeniable attraction, and characters I want to be friends with. I am in love with The Cage family series and look forward to more from this series.
Emma Wilder and Teddy Hamilton were well casted for this book. They both had incredible performances and their voices flowed nicely together.

I love second chances and the fact that this one is Isabella's story made me so happy. Isabella might seem tough but she had to be with her family life. Now, when she needs it the most, she sees Weston again, her only love and the one he left behind.
Another great story full of heart, heat and strength.

An Unexpected Everything (The Cage Family #2) is a small town, single parent romance.
I really enjoyed Weston and Isabella’s book. Great chemistry build, engaging drama and a wonderful ending. I’m continuously pleased with the growth of the Cage family. Navigating the new family dynamic effortlessly. I look forward to the next book in this series!
Teddy Hamilton and Emma Wilder did a wonderful job portraying these characters. Entertaining narration.

Weston is a powerhouse of I am man but this is my family and that is what you do. At the time his sisters needed him he dropped everything including his love life. Isabella is one that will give until she can’t, and now that she can’t and needs help her self, is unsure how to let go. These two are meant to be together, and I just love Carrie Ann Ryan for how she truly brought these people together.
Audiobook review.
This is a sweet and sexy listen. I enjoyed being along for the ride as Weston and Isabella reconnect. The two have a past and there is no denying their attraction is still strong. When Isabella needs help and a refuge, she ends up at Cage Lake and finds not only a place to thrive but Weston as well. As the two spend time together emotions come into play and the two must decide if they are wiling to follow their hearts this time or let it all slip away again. Not only did I enjoy the interaction between Isabella and Weston but so many of the supporting characters made themselves known. I always love seeing how the Cage family comes together to help each other and even give you that kick in the butt when it is needed.
Narrators Emma Wilder and Teddy Hamilton do a good job of bringing out the emotions and had me quickly immersed in the story.

Isabella Cage Dixon is the epitome of “eldest daughter”, minus the working in healthcare part.
She cares for her all her siblings, making sure everyone’s needs are met-except her own.
When visiting Blakely & Ashton’s in Cage Lake, she stumbles into the one person she let in & broke her heart: Weston Caldwell.
Weston had his reasons for leaving (& poor Isabella has her own reasons for both being mad & understanding), but can they pretend enough to not thing about the past or the future when there is danger hunting down Isabella or when their time in their bubble is wearing out?
HEA guaranteed as always with Carrie Ann, but this was one doozy of a ride to get there.
Tw: stalker, violence against women
