Monroe has the magic touch. The Winslow brothers are an addiction of the heart that proves too tempting to put down. The Redo is a sizzler that brings the funny. From witty to spicy, Remington and Maria are an accident worth falling into.
Wow, thank you Max Monroe for giving us this series but especially this book! The Redo is book #4 in the Winslow Brothers series. For the final book we get to find out more about Remy. He is the oldest sibling and if you have been following along this series you know that over a decade ago he was ready to get married but his fiance chose her work over him. I was so excited that Remy’s story was a second chance romance, I think it felt right for the journey that he has been on. I was actually very surprised by Remy’s story and his character. Without giving away anything, he was much more open to love than I anticipated and was far less grumpy than I thought.
As funny and crazy as these Winslow brothers have been, I found Maria to be far funnier! Maria was Remy’s high school love and their journey back together was one heck of an “elevator” ride. Max Monroe fills us in on their relationship history with a few flashback scenes. In the present, Maria’s life is a little hectic. She is running a business on her own, her assistant is horrible at her job, and she’s pregnant in the most unusual circumstances. Remy comes into her life unexpectedly and after that, they can’t seem to stay away from each other. Remy really steps up to help Maria and it causes them to form an even stronger, more mature, bond than they had in high school. My only problem is this seems to be one sided. I really liked the character of Maria but would have liked to see HER do something for HIM. But overall, their love story is sweet and a little bit more emotional than anticipated for a Max Monroe book but it was perfect.
What should you expect? More fun Winslow family group texts. A whole lot of Thatch! Surprises and some details you may have forgotten. Lots of humor. Competitive Winslows at the carnival. And lots of steam. This was a perfect ending to the series but you are going to want to download the extended epilogue.

I’m so sad to see this series end! I loved the Winslow brother’s so much. The family dynamic in all four books has been incredible.
I couldn’t wait for Remy’s story since the beginning. He was always such a loveable character in all the other books. I was so excited for him to finally find love.
A second chance romance is so underrated to me. Remy and Maria dating in high school but broke it off when Remy graduated and went away for college.
Years later they end up getting stuck in an elevator together, twice.
Remy taking care of both Maria and her daughter Isabel so quickly without even any thought was so sweet. This man was meant to be a father. The love he had for both of them just warmed my heart, he was the perfect person for Maria at exactly the right time.

Really sad that this series is over because I’ve enjoyed the Winslow brothers so much! I feel like we get to see a completely different side to Remy in this book. To me, I always saw him as the quiet, mind his own business, protective older brother. But in The Redo? He was flirty and I was shook like OKAY REMY I SEE YOU. And I loooooved Maria. She was a independent, driven and amazing single mom. Her story seriously broke my heart but the family they made together is so freaking sweet. What a great way to end the series!
was fine, just kind of boring, no real conflict. jumped the shark with the stupid dad wars the carnival. Liked the story overall, just needs to be about 30% shorter.
Remy Winslow and Maria Baros
It’s always so hard to say goodbye to the last character in a series, especially one that you love so much. Remy Winslow is the oldest brother and the last holdout for finding love. His book had a surprise in it that I wasn’t expecting, but was awesome. And Remy didn’t didn’t need to find true love he just had to reconnect with it. This story was so full of love and family and laughs. Lexi was a scene stealer that had some of the best lines! I love her and hope we get a book about her someday.

Kind of cute, slowwww but I believed the chemistry between them so it redeemed it somewhat. I did have a few major issues though: 1) there is a scene where Remy is helping with the baby who is barely 6 weeks old. Maria keeps asking for the baby back and he tells her no and won’t give her back because he’s “helping” her and she “needs to let him.” She eventually gives up. If a postpartum mom asks for her baby, GIVE HER THE BABY. 2) in another scene, Maria wakes up and realizes she has to be at work in 15 mins. As she’s scrambling around the house trying to get ready, Remy keeps stopping her, telling her to “calm down,” and at one point holds her so she can’t leave and then “slowly and deeply” kisses her. I’m sorry, I would be LIVID. Help me or get out of my freaking way!! Almost DNFed but kept going. Then 3) toward the end, Remy and Marie are at a family dinner and start having THE fight i.e. where is this relationship going? And the family gets up and leaves the room to give them privacy, but they also TAKE THE BABY AND LOCK THE DOOR. Maria starts pounding on the door to be let out and they refuse. Multiple times. Can we say kidnapping??
I loved this story! This book was recommended to me because it as looking for a book with this particular trope. My only complaint is that I didn't realize it was book for of a series. So I've already downloaded book one. It's my first max monroe book as well, and I'll be checking out more after I complete this series. I liked reading about 40 something characters and more grown up lifestyles. I love the big family, and can't wait to read the rest of the families stories
