I truly loved not only the concept, but also the execution. Remy and Maria grew up together, were high school sweethearts, then broke up. They didn't see each other again until twenty some odd years later when they get trapped in an elevator together, both single. But that's not the weird part... Maria is pregnant. And then... it gets even weirder. Maria is actually pregnant with her sister's baby, goes into labor, and Remy delivers the baby that she now has to raise all by herself. Cue all the craziness that inevitably ensues.
If you love single parent, main characters in their 40s, second chances, close proximity, friends to lovers romance, then this is for you! I really loved just how involved Remy was from the get go. From the minute that Izzy was born, Remy was there every step of the way. He really stepped into that father role, despite not being biologically related to Izzy at all. It really is a testament to how much he not only loves Izzy but Maria as well. It was very clear how not over her he really was, despite always pleading the contrary. Their dynamic was incredible and it was obvious how meant to be they were. Remy is just such an amazing man! Cleo the psychic was just so entertaining and I loved how the role she played in Remy's love life and the influence she had on him and Maria. I absolutely ADORED the speech Remy gave Maria before they had sex again, about how he loved her body just the way it is, even after having a baby and time passing and them aging. It was EPIC. I swooned.
I laughed and cried and boy, was there some great spice in this one. I actually did not read any of the other books in this series or any of the author's books as a matter of fact, but I truly really enjoyed this book.

Saved the best for last
If you have been following The Winslow brothers then you are ready for Remington and let me tell you the oldest brother does not disappoint and when you find out who he has been in contact with for fourteen years you are going to laugh you butt off at those younger brothers. Remy sets your bar high but what until you meet Maria and how they reconnect. Max and Monroe sent this for a great carnival ride that you will love until the last word.

Not my usual genre but I liked the story description. I tend to read less happy books, I know that sounds weird, so this was an easy read but took me a little longer. I am curious about the other Winslow Brother books, but I feel weird after starting with the last book in the series. Should I start at the beginning?
Well today is going to be a rough one since I was up WAY too long last night because I simply had to finish this book! I have a love/hate relationship with Max Monroe. I LOVE to read their stories but I HATE to finish them! And these Winslows, man I’m sad that this is the last one.
I fell in love with Uncle Remy back in Scoring the Billionaire, I mean how could you not? His relationship with his niece Lexi is EVERYTHING! So I was looking forward to his story the most, and I was not disappointed!! Remy and Maria’s story is filled with emotion, banter and broken elevators. You are going to laugh, cry and most definitely blush.
We all need a Remy Winslow in our lives, his sense of calm is exactly what Maria needs, his grumpy demeanor with his brothers makes me laugh, and his love for all the females in his life will make you swoon.
Read this book, heck read the whole series, they are so much fun. And don’t get me started on the bonus epilogue at then end!! Perfect…Perfect… Perfect!!!
