This was such a fun book and Remy was such a great character. If you've ever wanted to read a story where there's a single mom and the male main character just instantly steps in to help and act like the father/husband, this is the story for you. Remy was so enamored with both Maria and Izzy, it was adorable.
There was so much to enjoy from this story, the close family connections, the banter, the old friends/lovers reconnecting, the comedy, the adorable kids, and so much more.
There are some heavier topics handled throughout the book, but I think it was done so well. There is a perfect balance to the heavier subjects and the comedy. It was a well thought-out story, with well developed characters. I want to say the length of the book was a bit too much, but at the same time, I understand why everything was included and I didn't really want to say bye to these characters.
This was the fourth (and final) book in the series, but it was my first Winslow brother, so definitely something you can read out of order and still enjoy and understand. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys the following:
✔️ Single Mom
✔️ Friends to Lovers
✔️ Second Chance
✔️ Close Family
✔️ New York
✔️ First Person Dual POV
