sometimes you just need a little romance to kick your reading brain back into gear
- such an incredibly odd decision to not have a third act break up, my least favourite thing in the world, but instead in its place have a public argument in front of his entire family - I actually would have rather just taken the third act breakup because the second hand embarrassment of that scene was almost too much to bear
- besides that, I think it was fine
- I wont lie I skipped through the flash back scenes, I just didn’t care
- could have been good by actually exploring the characters internal conflicts - but instead there was a lot of texting? between characters that j think we’re actually all sat in the same room together? Odd decisions upon odd decisions
- I feel like Maria was way to trusting with everyone like having strangers look after your baby, even if you knew them like twenty years ago, was a little strange but it’s just a silly little romance book and it’s my fault for using my critical thinking brain
- overall, it served its purpose - not memorable in the slightest unfortunately but nothing glaringly absolutely terrible about it

This is the fourth book in a series and it's the perfect conclusion to this phenomenal series!!!
Remy and Maria’s story is just incredible.

3.5, kinda boring.

This is the fourth (and sadly final) book in the Winslow Brother’s collection and while it can be read as a stand-alone, the main characters in the first two books are strong supporting characters, so knowing the context behind all the brother talk and family banter is worth it! This series follows four tight-knit brothers who all have some major emotional baggage when it comes to women. Each brother, in some capacity, has that alpha male personality that brings all the spontaneous, sexy and entertaining vibes. However, when they each start top open their hearts to love, we see a soft side that brings all the feels.

I’ve been waiting for Remi’s story and IT. WAS. EVERYTHING!! Seriously can there be a better guy on this planet?! I am always a sucker for the single-parent trope but when it mixes in a second chance romance with flashbacks from the past and the most caring and sincere hero, I am a goner. Maria was such a likable FMC, and while a lot of this story could have focused on her grief or a potential grudge from the past, I love how it really was about her life moving forward now that she is Izzy’s legal guardian. I say this every review, but the texts between the Winslow brother clan as well as the group text between the ladies was perfect. I am ready to join the Winslow’s and hang at Friday night dinner!

What to expect:
-Second chance romance
-Single parent trope
-NYC setting
-Real estate profession
-Open door scenes
-Dual POVs
-Flashbacks from HS
-Group texts

The last Winslow brother is here and what a story it is!

Remy doesn't want a relationship or marriage and kids, he is sure that it isn't in the cards for him, especially after he was left at the altar years ago.

Maria is pregnant but the baby isn't hers, it's a complicate situation that gets even more complicated once she is stuck in an elevator with her highshool boyfriend, Remy.

This is a second chance romance and the second change is taking place twenty years later. The plot is wonderful with Maria being a single mother in a very unique way.

The romace is great, the build up was amazing and truly payed off. They are both in their 40s and it is shows especially in the way they handle with maturity their relationship and the decisions they took along the way.

Remy was amazing, I loved how protective and sweet he was, he gave Maria all the help she needed but didn't want to ask. Maria is reserved, she doesn't want to rely on anyone, she feels like she must do anything on her own, asking for help is not something she is used to, especially since she is left alone without any support system.

The text messages between the brothers were once again one of the highlights, I love their family dynamic.

What a book, I didn't it to end and it was a long one, so you can imagine how great it is!

There is an extended epilogue that you definitely don't want to miss, take my word for it.

* I received an ARC and this is my honest opinion.

Another crazy fun winslow book but also what a cliffhanger!!!
medium-paced

3.5*
except the ugly fucking cover this was okay even if I just skimmed thru it

The Redo by @authormaxmonroe is amazing. Remy got stuck in an elevator not once but twice with his high school sweetheart Maria. She is pregnant but not with her own child. She is carrying a baby for her sister and brother in law. They both lived life since they went their separate ways. They both has sadness, career focused, and thought love was never meant for them. This second change romance is great. I loved all the Winslow brothers.

It’s been a while since I’ve read Max Monroe and I’ve really missed these ladies and their writing style. They always make me laugh so much but this time they really tapped into my feels. And can I just say as a woman in her 40’s it’s very refreshing to read an older couple. So thank you Max and Monroe for remembering us older gals and writing characters that are closer to our age. I do believe that is why this is my favorite Max Monroe book to date. This story captures you from the beginning and has you rooting for Ri and Remy. They both stole my heart and this book definitely left me hugging my kindle. This is an ABSOLUTE must read!
