Ohhh I loved it

Second chance romance with dual pov. The flashbacks were hard but I’m not a flashback lover. Marnie and Jupiter are beautiful together and their relationship is frigging swoony and heart fluttering.

I know nothing about baseball but I understood the book

This book gives all the second chance feels

JUPITER REEVES IS THE NEW BOOK BOYFRIEND STANDARD!!! Y’all, if you are looking for a sports romance with a good story line, personable characters, and lots of spice, then you need to read this book!!! I was laughing out loud some moments, tearing up at the break-ups, and giggling at all the spice

I loved Jupiter and his Star to the moon and back. This man knows how to make a romantic gesture and he found the same in his Star.

We finally see the backstory of Jupiter Reeves; the greatest third baseman alive. This grumpy, closed off man told Penn he would move to New York for one reason only: if Marnie Matthews was convinced to move to New York and work for the New York Lions baseball team.

When Penn pulls through and gets Marnie, Jupiter is rejuvenated. The second chance he never thought he would get is here and he is ready.

Even though time, distance and years separated Jupiter from Marnie, he held her in his heart. His non-verbal actions displayed his thoughts loud and clear to those who were looking. Seeing Marnie come into her own and make the transition from NASA to Baseball science was a testament to her strength. While she was guarding her heart, the walls were no match to the magnetic pull of Jupiter.

Lastly, the cameos of favorites from previous books helped continue the wonderful world Lulu created. Lowe and Beulah welcomed Marnie with open arms and seeing the found family make this romance that much sweeter.

This book follows baseball star, Jupiter, who broke up with his girlfriend years ago but brings her back to get her to fall in love with him again. I'm a huge sports romance fan no matter what the romance is. I enjoyed the plot of this book and how it had a dual timeline of the past and present. I know Lulu Moore is very popular with their other series but I have to say that the writing was okay for my liking. As much as the plot is great, the storyline structure was not that great. There wasn't much backstory to the characters in my opinion as some of the past chapters were repetitive. I did enjoy getting both characters' perspectives and how they handled their romance.

The main characters in this book are Jupiter and Marnie. I have to say that I enjoyed their past characters and not so much their present characters. Their past characters had that new love feeling to it and understanding. Their present characters I felt lacked that personality in a way. They did have a good development with how much they approved and got what they wanted which I enjoyed. There are also many side characters who I enjoyed reading about. I can tell some of them were from the other series with the way they were introduced. The romance I enjoyed this book and thought it was cute. It's second chance romance and friends to lovers. It's steamy and there is so much chemistry between the characters.

The ending was well done with an epilogue that readers will enjoy. I do have to say that I felt some of my questions felt unanswered or I just didn't interpret them properly. I felt that even though this is a whole different series somehow you have to read the other books to understand it more. It was still a great read and I read it fairly quickly. I do recommend that you check out this book especially if you love baseball romance with second chance trope.

2nd chance romance!!!

Guys this book was great. I wanted a good baseball romance, and it hit home but what an absolute awesome 2nd chance romance. I was dying to finish tonight because I couldn’t stop reading it.

When marn found out about Jupes tattoo for her I would have folded absolutely melted away into a puddle of water because that was the sweetest thing ever!
I really loved this book.

Second chance can either be amazing or meh and this one leant more meh to me. It is heavily advertised online which is usually a red flag but some of the authors other books have been great. The writing was good but it just didn’t grab me. It was like all the ingredients were there but it just didn’t come together properly.
