A beautiful ending to a spectacular series. Spell bound had just the right amount of depth countered with Sophia's wit and humour. This book had me grinning, on the edge of my seat, anticipating the next page and reading on until i finished in a matter of hours. It evoked laughter, and tears. I can't think of a more perfect way to end the series :)
Oh, the heart throbs of Cal and Archer. Both so charming, but in the end, she could only choose one. I wont spoil it, but this was probably the most sweet love triangle that wasn't too stereotypical.
I loved every moment of it

With Spell Bound, Hawkins has delivered an amazing ending to a fabulous series. This final installment was everything I could have wanted and more with great humor, lots of action, and awesome characters. I'm sad that its over but glad that I can experience the whole adventure from beginning to end whenever I want.

It answers all the questions established in the earlier novels. However, it felt a little disjointed as a book. This is remedied slightly by splitting Spell Bound into three sections, but the novel doesn't have an overarching mystery like [b:Hex Hall|5287473|Hex Hall (Hex Hall, #1)|Rachel Hawkins|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1368393885s/5287473.jpg|5354884] and [b:Demonglass|8428064|Demonglass (Hex Hall, #2)|Rachel Hawkins|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1287692542s/8428064.jpg|11015791]. That being said, though, Spell Bound is a good conclusion to the series that will be satisfactory to fans (even those that sped through the trilogy at light speed).

This book picks up with the action right where the second one ended, no random time lapse or anything. It’s been a while since I read number 2, and I was worried that I’d be lost, but it did a great job of reminding me of certain things that happened.
There is still a group (won’t spoil it) that wants to start the war between the Prodigium and the humans and raise their own army of demons, or as they call it “protecting” themselves and others. Even though Sophie has her powers sealed at the moment, she’s still considered the greatest hope in saving the world and leading them, but she might just also be their nightmare if that group can change her to their side. I know I’m being vague, but I don’t want to ruin the third and final book of a series for someone who hasn’t started it, I dislike spoilers. And this book was really good!
Sophie’s witty and sarcastic humour is just as fun as before, she had me laughing at all the right times, but also feeling her pain or sadness. Even Archer was amusing in his own way, I still wasn’t sure if I liked his character or not yet until I read more of this book. Jenna the Vampire is still my favourite, with her thing for Pink including the streak in her hair and her ability to just go with the flow. Cal is still quiet, but I feel sorry for the guy at times with the whole love triangle going on. The Brannicks are also pretty awesome too, warrior women who kick butt and all.
So, if you haven’t read the first two books, go pick them up and read them already! This series has lots of laughs, action, romance, danger and tons magic and secrets. Recommended for those who like paranormal, romance, fantasy-like young adult books.
And now for my favourite saying in the book:
Holy hell weasel!

This series was super awesome to read! The writing is just so fun and Sophie is a riot. I'd recommend this to any fans of supernatural ya reads.
i enjoyed it and found it to be a neatly wrapped up ending to the series but it wasn't the best of the 3 books. i was happy about her parents' ending though!
also, still don't see the appeal of archer. sorry, ladies.

*sniffling* Why would you do that? Why did he have to die? And then ugh his afterlife! FEELS!!!
