the resolution of the Cal/Sophie/Archer triangle (which WHY in the first place) really ruined the whole thing for me tbqh, and Sophie's non-stop sarcasm eventually got annoying.

Holy guacamole, the writing is so bad and so lazy. Sophie is so annoying. Just shut up, Sophie! The plot is all over the place. The love triangle gets weirder and more annoying. Characterization is all over the place. If I had to read the word “awesome,” one more time I would go insane.

I love this series. That's all there is to say. A great wrap-up that still had surprises and didn't feel obviously closing-all-the-loose-ends.

Leider nur minimal besser als Bd. 2.
Das Ende war ziemlich abgehackt,

Rating: 2,5

I am sad to see this series end. :( it always was funny and made me smile!
I will say that this last one wasn't my favorite out of them, but I still liked it. I really liked the ending. It was adorable and heart warming. I even sorta teared up at this one part. Overall, I would recommend this series! It was funny and had a good amount of fantasy!

A little predictable, but a quick read, normal YA series.

Finally finished & I loved it :)

I cant believe it. I didn't think I could like a conclusion to a series so much, because usually the conclusion, means its finished, but this one needs to have a spin off series (I think [a:Rachel Hawkins|2261547|Rachel Hawkins|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1442494376p2/2261547.jpg] read my mind when she created [b:School Spirits|15826934|School Spirits (School Spirits, #1)|Rachel Hawkins|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1354294039s/15826934.jpg|21559254]! Thank you for that Rachel).

I think I will need to re-read this book because it all happened so fast. We suddenly went from 10 chapters of drama, to suddenly attacking the bad guy. So this review will need to be edited later.
From what I remember I loved the all but specifically -
Spoiler trip to the underworld (scary), when we were suddenly sent to Hex Hall (did not see that coming!), facing the army of demons that were actually her friends, going into the cellar and finding Anna/Daisy/Nick ect., being taken to Lara's office, all the scenes with Elodie (that girl is badass), finding Sophie's dad, getting Sophie's powers back YAY and everything in between.

The ending. OMG. Cal getting sucked into the pit and killed in the place of Sophie (NOOOOO I LOVED CAL!). I always knew she would end up with Archer, but I didn't see the whole Cal getting sucked in bit, I just thought she would pick Archer. I think it was perfect that Mrs Casnoff sacrificed herself for her students and that Lara went down. I like that Cal gets to be a ghost at the place he has always loved and spend the rest of his existence healing it. I am happy that Elodie can look after him but I was sad to see her leave Sophie's side. I think Sophie deserves to be Head of the Council as she has endured so much, and I am very glad that she is opening up the school again, because even with all its faults, it really seemed like a safe place for a lot of people. Jenna and Archer are defiantly a good people for her to have in her life along with her parents (YAY I AM SO HAPPY THEY ARE BACK TOGETHER) and that her dad can spend the rest of his life happy, without his own magical dramas with her mum.

It was a perfect ending, but I want to see more of Sophie's life after these events and am praying that we hear even little bits about her in [b:School Spirits|15826934|School Spirits (School Spirits, #1)|Rachel Hawkins|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1354294039s/15826934.jpg|21559254]. She deserves to live a comfortable life now after all she has done.
I cannot believe this whole story began with a prom night gone wrong, but heck, it was perfect to me. I want more am excited to read more of [a:Rachel Hawkins|2261547|Rachel Hawkins|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1442494376p2/2261547.jpg] work in the future.
