This was a very entertaining graphic novel. Based on a day in the life of various cryptids (like Bigfoot, Loch Ness, Sleep Paralysis demons, moth man, chupacabras etc) and Anderson had me smirking the whole time with a couple of LOL. Very witty.
This was such a cute little set of comics about cryptids! I actually, also, feel like I learned something about cryptids since my knowledge in that sort of thing is sorely lacking. Especially loved all the tense and awkward moments poor Nessie found herself in, I sympathize.

Just in time for spooky season, this is a short, fun collection of what your average monster is doing in their day to day life. Hope to see lots more from Sarah Anderson! ☺️
*I received a copy of this book on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for this opportunity*
An adorable and hilarious collection of comics featuring common (and uncommon) crytids! They live, they laugh, they love-- and it's utterly charming. Sarah Anderson is easily one of the most recognizable comics of the millenial generation, and she certainly did not fail with this newest collection. I found myself laughing out loud several times, and (at the very least) smiling the rest of the time.

This is my second book of Sarah Andersen comics, and I loved it just as much as Fangs. It's delightfully silly, and I love the comedic snippets of cryptid life and the little nods to each cryptid's background, as well as some literary pieces they're in or news they're associated with.
If you're unfamiliar with cryptids, definitely check out the glossary in the back before diving into this.

Cute, I smiled and did the nose-exhale laugh quite a few times. Mothman was my fav, idk who the legs guy was tho. I googled the title and read it for free on the author’s webtoon site. Good way to fill a few minutes of downtime with something cheerful instead of doom scrolling.
A fantastic, funny little coffee table book for the spooky season. Cute, spooky, and hilarious.
