A fantastic, funny little coffee table book for the spooky season. Cute, spooky, and hilarious.

This was a cute and fun comic collection. I enjoyed the art style, the creatures featured (including the loch ness monster, ghosts, mothman, and more), and the humor throughout.

Thank you to the publisher for granting me access to this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I laughed myself silly with this! I read Fangs a few years ago and loved it, and have since seen Sarah's comics from time to time. Comics aren't my usual thing so I don't have a lot to compare to, but I always enjoy hers!

Cryptid Club has the added bonus of being about cryptids, or "fake" creatures which is an interesting subject no matter what.

What a funny and adorable collection of comics. Perfect for October!!

I have followed Sarah Andersen for for quite a while and thoroughly enjoyed the cryptid comics on her Instagram account, but I certainly missed some and audibly laughed at ones I
remembered anyway! Mothman is an absolute joy and I appreciated the notes on the creatures I was not already familiar with!

Thank you to Andrews McMeel and Edelweiss for providing a DRC for review!

This spooky little comic collection had me laughing out loud! I adore Sarah Anderson’s art style and sense of humor. I also really liked how some of the comic connected, and provided “mini plots” throughout. Sometimes comic collections can feel jumbled or choppy, but this one was absolutely perfect.

Delightful. Might just be my favourite of hers.

With a similar style of humour as her Sarah’s Scribbles comics, Sarah’s other book Cryptid Club features paranormal creatures as the stars. With an interest in the paranormal myself, I absolutely loved these silly cute comic strips that show ghosts, aliens, Slender Man, Big Foot, etc. in a variety of familiar situations but from the POV of Cryptid and not how humans perceive them (like blurry photos, crop circles). A quick read but thoroughly enjoyable.
