Andersen can't write a bad comic book. I want to hug and squish and squeeze every creepy crawly in this book. Cute one-page stories told in four panels or less. Adorable! Wonderful pick me up for anyone having a bad day.
I normally enjoy Andersen's work, but this just didn't do it for me.
I loved this! Not going to lie I'm a sucker for Mothman and cryptids so I see a book about cryptids I'm instantly interested. I enjoyed this so much the art style was bright and colorful, the stories are funny and relatable like bigfoot with body image issues! Ive already followed Sarah on Instagram so I can see even more of her comics!

This was a really sweet, fun read! I've seen this author's webcomics before and in this collection she imagines cryptids as her main characters. I love me some cryptids and this collection was a really good pick-me-up while I am stuck at home with COVID. I read it in one sitting but honestly if I had a tangible copy it would be a great bathroom book.

“Cryptid Club” was the exact cup of warm spooky tea I needed from Sarah Anderson. A collection of comics following a cast of cryptids ranging from the modern to the mythical, this was a delight to read from beginning to end.
It goes without saying that humor is subjective and if Anderson’s humor doesn’t do it, then the book is worth the skip. But I delighted in every clever twist and obvious in retrospect pun with every page. A Bigfoot suffering social anxiety and a Loch Ness Monster always saying the wrong thing (like a Cryptid Cassandra of Troy) are among what emerges as a perfectly sized cast of friends dealing with the ups and downs of cryptid life. It’s less serious and adult than “Fangs” (which I also adored) but it has the same blend of horror and comedy, just chibified.
“Cryptid Club” was the kind of spooky and fun that a favorite childhood halloween film is. I can’t think of a better thing to read when greeting fall than that.

I love Sarah Andersen. ❤️ Cryptid Club is a collection of her series on cryptids and it does not disappoint. I laughed out loud and shared quite a few with my husband and daughter.
Ok to share with kids.

Charming comics! Funny, sweet, and with Sarah Andersen's super cute art style. A lovely, lighthearted, quick read if you want a pick me up or a laugh.
Mothman showing up to haunt someone about to cut bangs is a callout I did not appreciate -
