We read it all, because we'd paid money for it, but the kids didn't like it. Walliams phoned it in on this one.
Totally only a bestseller due to the hype and his apparent stardom.

A bit of cautionary tale for spoils single kids , but in the end was a bit flat in comparison to his other works

Reminds me of writing style of Roald Dahl. Which is one of my beloved authors. I want a Fing only when there’s undisciplined children are around... hahaha.

The two kids I looked after over the summer absolutely adored this book and were laughing most of the way through! That’s a 4 year old girl and a 7 year old boy who’s approval this book met very nicely :) Although some scenes they found a bit scary!
