These characters are all growing so much! Nick and Chalie's relationship further develops as they make decisions on if to let others know about it or not. Other relationships form too. There are some serious topics covered in this volume along side the gushy, cute romance. It's handled quite well. This particular volume was very moving.

Content Warning: self-harm/eating disorders. Nick and Charlie are official, now it’s time to tell their friends and family. Nick has some struggles at home but manages to overcome them by the end of the school trip to Paris. Charlie has issues which he keeps to himself but learns to share with Nick. My favourite character is still Nick and my least favourite character is David (Harry has some growth in this volume). I recommend this book because it’s interesting to see an official and more mature side to Nick and Charlie’s relationship, and see other relationships in the story flesh out. I’m onto volume 4 immediately! “There’s this idea that if you’re not straight, you HAVE to tell your family and friends immediately, like you owe it to them. But you don’t. You don’t have to do anything until you’re ready.”
