Such a good love story and happy ending book without it being sappy. The back and forth makes their relationship feel real
Dani and Aiden are so fun!
Dani and Aiden meet on his college campus and sparks are FLYING right off the bat! The banter was so good and Dani is suuuuuccchhh a baddie! She is a tatted up, dark haired hottie who is a really amazing photojournalist killin' it at her career! They are just so FUN and Aiden is such the charmer! Both wanting just a friends with benefits, we go on a fun and playful but STEAMY journey with them. Until feelings start to creep in, and both of their pasts are keeping their fears at the forefront. Their story is one of my favorites Nikki has written! Who am I kidding, they're all my favorites!
Nikki girl... you have done it again! 3 Count is a great third addition to the Fight Game series! Dani peaked my interest at the end of 2 Fights and it was so fun to have the whole group back together again in 3 Count! Aiden has always been the funny, witty comedian of the crew and getting a better look into his story was perfection! I have a super big girl crush on Dani and how cool she is! Nikki, you never cease to amaze me with your writing- being dropped into the MMA world has been a favorite that you deliver on EVERY. DANG. TIME!
Unpopular Opinion though... I'm still a Tristan girl! (5 Rounds book 1- go read it!) haha

I really liked Aiden and Dani! They were so great together. Super hot and fun. I liked seeing them get to know one another. Aiden was the best part. I loved how he was with Dani and how much deeper he was than you see at first glance. This was a great story! Loving this series!

I didn’t love this the way I loved every other Nikki Castle book. I feel like this lacked the immediate draw of characters. Dani was like nails on a chalk board; the way she was incapable of accepting that people don’t do things the way she does (ie/ career wise) was incredibly aggravating. I found that she was very “I’m so tough and no one gets me” in a Peyton from OTH way.
I could probably have stuck it out for Aiden but. Y’know. I like plot with my smut and within this 35% there was so much sex and not nearly enough plot for my liking.
FWB to lovers isn’t my jam, which is why I’m omitting a rating because just because that trope isn’t for me doesn’t mean this wasn’t (I assume) a well written book with that trope and I really want Nikki castle to succeed and keep writing books. This one was just a miss for me.
