5 star reading EXPERIENCE.
Yes, this review is for Connected, but I have finished Torn and am in such a jumble about writing a review for this series --> lets just say I loved, loved, loved it!!!!
AMAZING writing & out of this world plot. It really doesn't get much better then this. This was my first huge ugly cry book for 2014...heart racing, made me lose sleep, forget to eat, neglected the husband(oops)etc., book.
I have so many highlights and usually I use those to track my progress but I just didn't want to step away from the book to do that(Torn that is ) Progress updates for Connected are documented. and when I look back a week to this--> HOLY HELL!
I can't recommend this enough -->it has it all and it will turn your world on its ends. Everything you thought you knew about Insta-love and love triangles comes into the mix. I can't say much more without going onto spoilers so I'll leave at that until I can add quotes to progress updates.
READ THIS SERIES! Bravo Kim Karr, Bravo!

If you don't like cliffhangers don't read it...no read it anyway! Can't wait for the next book I am completely hooked at this point. So many unanswered questions still. Loved it! Couldn't make up my mind if I wanted to give 4 or 5 stars but the ending solidified a five star review.
Was not expecting this story to be so jaw dropping and exciting and sad and happy. My feelings were all over the place I could not put this book down! Besides going to bed each page had my attention. I have so many questions! I need to know what happens because I'm in complete shock! I loved it.
the story was good and the description of her pain really hit me. i was so sad for her and my heart ache every time she thought of ben. i wasnt ready for her to move on either lol gosh it really kills me to even think about it. when she finally did move on, i fell hard with her but then the man because i whipped little boy. it took a big toll for me and it was too much lovey dovey crap for me that repeated it self. but the drama in the book was great, the ass hole brother and the sister part was good but i think it was really stupid how he blamed her and how quickly they let it go after that. ... .. BUT THAT EPILOGUE holy shit!!! im ready for the good stuff ;)
Seriously amazing book. Had me blubbering like a baby. And with the ending WTF?!? I definitely didn't see that coming. I can not wait for the next book!!!!
Kim Karr you are an amazing Writer! You captured me at the beginning and held me to the end! I have riden the emotional rollercoaster with this Book! Now on Torn:-)

5 "I'm wild for Wilde" Stars
You know how good a book is going to be when you have only read a few pages and you are hooked. That is exactly what happened to me when I started reading Connected.
"Could love at first sight be real?"
This book has it all. Its well written, great characters, fantastic story, great twists, and great supporting characters.
The quote that was my deciding factor to purchase the book was:
"What if a “Once in a Lifetime” could happen twice?"
I'm a sucker for second chances stories, and well this is by far #1 in my top 5 favorites ever.
Kim has a way with words that make you not want to put the book down. Needless to say I read it in one sitting, lol. What I love the most about her writing is the character development, every single one of them are written in a way that you will feel like you know them, are friends with them, and that is something I enjoy while reading, that connection to the characters, I need it, and its wonderful when I get it even with side characters.
River is, wow, he is perfect, really. I love his character, from the moment they meet I fell hard. He is and will always be my number 1 BBF. Dahlia is beautiful, not only on the outside, but on the inside as well, she is loving and caring and such a cool chick. Them together is just perfection!!!! They were made for each other, but life sometimes have other ideas and things don't work the way we want them to.
“How could love at first sight even exist when you were already in love with someone else?”
Years after their first encounter, they meet again and fireworks ignite!!!! After their first second meeting things start progressing and a beautiful love story was born. I loved reading how their relationship developed and how even tho they had a few hiccups on the way they stuck together.
“I feel like fate has brought us together again. I also believe that one night, so long ago, just wasn't the right time for us. But tonight is.”
Then on the last 15% of the book holy mother of all twists!!!!!! I never saw that ending coming, I'm not a fan of CHs, but wow, it was an incredible one. My poor kindle almost did not survived the ending of Connected. But it was so worth it tho, a beautiful love story that will stay with me forever. R&D forever!!!! <3

Amazing story... The last 15% is totally different than anything I have read. Can't wait for the next book.

This book starts out with an explosive meeting. Dahlia is trying to heal, and in walks River to help her do just that. Their connection is instantaneous. Their desire is undeniable.
Dahlia is sassy and sweet. River is patient and caring. Their relationship is one that could either sail or drown. There are laughs and tears throughout this story. The two of them together is something that no one can deny.
Obviously, this story can't be that uncomplicated. There are twists and turns that will have you looking around trying to figure out just what will happen next. At many parts in this story, it will be hard to put the book down. Now, there are some parts that are a little... uninteresting, but these parts don't totally ruin the story.
Overall, this is a cute and sexy read. Something about this book will have you drawn in from the beginning... of coarse the little cliffhanger doesn't hurt either!

Woaaahh!!!! What an ending!!!! I can't believe I have to wait until this fall to know what's going to happen!
This was a very deep story that got me hooked from the very start. I loved the first encounter between Dahlia and River and how she runs from the instant connection because of her boyfriend, Ben.
I wish there would have been a deeper development of the relationship between Dahlia and Ben, but now that I read everything I understand why the author kept it like that. I also didn't find quite right the comparisons between Ben and River from Dahlia through the whole story. I think they are two different guys and two dfferent situations in two different moments of her life, but given the way things happen for her I didn't think it was that weird after all. I mean, you can't help but compare old relationships with the current one, it's just that in this case it made Ben look "poor".
Anyway, back to River and Dahlia... Wow, they have some serious chemistry going on between them. The sexual tension was killing me. I liked the pace of things. I liked how nothing felt rushed even though they loved each other after a few days of meeting again. I could feel perfectly how Dahlia felt the entire time, how she was struggling with her feelings and the whole situation, and that made me like her even more with every page.
River was out of this world. Really, sometimes I even though he was too perfect. But then we get to know his point of view and that makes everything better. I always love to know both sides. The way he loves Dahlia is totally unique and genuine. And he keeps the mystery going on.
That was other of my favorite things about this story. You make your asumptions, your guesses... I knew something was missing, something was kind of odd from the start, and I thought about a lot of options, but never imagined what happens at the end. That was totally unexpected, but it was the perfect twist at the perfect time. The start and the ending are worth 5 stars for me, while I give the rest of the book 4 stars.
There are enough sex scenes in this story to keep you hot most of the time. Some of them are seriously steamy and awesome and I loved them, they were great. They didn't feel repetitive, each sexy moment had a different feeling on it and that made them more complete.
I still can't get over that final! One of the best endings ever, even though I kind of hated the author for a few seconds after reading it. I tried to find more pages but then I had to accept that I'll have to wait until the second book is released.
Great book, I highly recommend it and I look forward to read more about this story and River, Dahlia and Ben.
