Well that was a wild ride. A little scattered, but intriguing enough that I'm glad I had the foresight to buy the sequel. I would much rather have had more detail in a lot of places - especially since I had trouble keeping track of Molly's age past 17 (when we're introduced to her at the beginning, she's late 20s early 30s but I can't figure out when she got older than maybe 22)
Cool concept with some awesome fight sequences and a dry matter-of-factness to the gore and scientific descriptions. I love that the mollys have different personalities, though I would much rather have seen a bit more about why/how (there was research! Show me the research!)
BRB, going to go read the sequel

This thriller begins and ends with a Molly’s perspective. Molly tells the captive within the book, the story of her life (her childhood, adulthood up till her present. The reason for her condition is pathetic but the writing was so phenomenal, the writing overshadows that minor flaw. If Molly bleeds another Molly appears and the descriptions of her killing her other selves were bloody, gruesome and great if you are into those kind of things. The parents are complex people and the other minor characters she sleeps add to the story. All in all, it was a wonderful bloody mystery with a great end.

This book was forgettable. I felt no fear or tension that is expected from a horror novella. It may be due to listening to an audiobook instead of reading it, but this just missed for me. The story felt disjointed and jumped in time with no real connection. One page Molly is a toddler, next she’s a teen and that made this hard to follow. So much happens, yet it felt like nothing happened.

I devoured this little novella! And surprisingly I want to know more so I'll be following with this series.
Not much happens and yet so much happens in this book. It's creepy and has an eerie atmosphere from the very first page. Molly is a great main character who gets so much depth in all the small interactions she has in such a restrained number of pages. The plot is different and unexpected and although it doesn't revolutionise anything, it keeps you reading and has immaculate horror vibes.
All I can say is that Molly is... special... Up to you to read it and figure out how.
