I think I liked the idea of the plot more than the actual telling of it. Which is sad because I was hyped.
In the beginning it seemed like the idea of Molly's character was just that, the author had a fun thought about how she should be but the surroundings and the plot seemed to be a bit lacking to me. It did get better towards the end, I liked it a lot and maybe the next books will get even better but I think that was enough for me to get the idea. It's pretty fun. :)

3.5-4 Stars
I enjoyed this. Part horror part scifi. Would I read it again? No. But I did like it enough to read the 2nd one. The characters seemed a little far fetched at times and I wondered where the cops were, but not super glaring problems. Although I do wonder how you get rid of so many bodies with out getting caught, especially while at school in a dorm room.
Not a bad short horror story.

"The rules are simple.
If you see a girl who looks like you, run and fight.
Don't bleed.
If you bleed, blot, burn and bleech.
If you find a hole, find your parents."
This short books follows the story of Molly Southbourne, who finds out at a young age that when she bleeds, the blood forms an identical clone of herself that are also murderous and violent. Despite being as careful as she can, Molly finds herself accidentally creating more 'Mollys' and her parents have been secretly disposing of the dead clones.
At the beginning of the book, our narrator is an unnamed girl who has been beaten and tied in a dark room, left to rot in her own waste. We quickly find out that Molly has beaten and tied the girl up, and begins to tell the girl her life story.
So the concept was there, unfortunately the book just didn't live up to it. The idea of someone's blood creating murderous clones is genius and I was so excited for a dark gory story exploring that idea. But for some reason, I was bored and didn't feel like I was getting the story I signed up for.
I will say however, that I appreciated that the author thought about what would happen when Molly eventually started menstruating and actually thought about how Molly and her body would create to these things.
Overall, it was an okay quick read, but kinda disappointing based on my own hopes.
