God im addicted to this. I can't believe there's only one more book until im caught up. Ms Shannon I need you to get to typing.

My girl Paige is literally always one stiff breeze away from death, and she is occasionally beholden to plot-concussions that make her wildly stupid, but I love her regardless. Also my new favourite book boyfriend is an immortal pansexual king who often has to tell the MC "yeah, we fucked like 200 years ago" whenever someone acts cryptic around him.

This is my favorite one in the series so far! I loved the exploration of the clairvoyant orders in different places and how they all are striving for the same things in different ways. I loved meeting the new characters and of course having Arcturus and Paige interact and learn about each other.
Getting to see Paige learn more about who she is as a leader, a rebel, and a clairvoyant is so cool.
I kinda called the plot twist at the end but it hurt my heart!! And also left me with a lot of questions.
How could Paige actually believe him?!?! I’m excited to read the next book and have a lot of my questions answered.

Paige is boring. Paige is a sad stereotypical YA main character with nothing much going for her. world building is excellent but I'm tired.

This book kept me on tender hooks until the very end, and I could not put it down! I love this series so much, and it has such a diverse set of characters and storyline. Honestly I was screaming at certain points!!
