Absolutely loved every moment of this story. Ann can do no wrong. A single dad, small town, cowboy romance? Such great tropes bundled into this read. An absolute MUST read!!!

Caleb made my heart feel all of the emotions throughout the entire read. It was so heartwarming to watch him grow. And the way that Jensen and Briar (as well as the rest of the Halstead family & friends) would do anything for him? My heart could not take anymore.

Honorable mention for Ziggy because I too would be fainting around the urban cowboy.

As soon as I read the trope list I new I was really going to like it but it exceeded by expectations! Single dad and nanny stories I love anyway but mix in ferris wheels đź‘€ and fainting goats lol and you really have everything

I'd really recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance with some spice and a really wholesome story! Thanks again @authoranneinerson for the ARC i love all of your books x

This book was so cute, but also so much more emotional than I anticipated & I loved it so much! A little age gap, nanny, forced proximity, all some of my favorite tropes made it even better!

Jensen finds out that he has a 5 year old son (Caleb) from a one night thing, but she has recently passed & left their son in his care. With his world turned completely upside down, he returns to his hometown & “adopted” family in Montana. There, he’s set up to stay in a cabin with his best friend’s younger sister (Briar).

Briar & Jensen have instant chemistry (but push aside for the good of Caleb), but she also connects with his son almost immediately as well! Caleb clings to Briar as a safe haven & someone he trusts, so she also becomes his nanny for the summer when Jensen is in need.

Jensen & Briar are delish! I love them together & their banter & chemistry!!

Mkay I won’t spill anymore story wise, but I will say that how Jensen (& really every adult) is with Caleb, it just absolutely warmed my heart! He is such a special little boy, who has been through something unimaginable, & everyone around him just cares so much & is so understanding! Maybe it’s the mom in me, but I straight up bawled a few times, both from heartbreak & happiness!

I can’t wait to read more in this series!

loved it! I am definitely in my Cowboy and single dad eras. Ziggy was a stitch and a half! Caleb is adorable and Jensen is drool-worthy. super sweet with the right amount of spice for me. I have an idea of the couple for the next installment and I sure hope I am right! fell just shy of the 5 star feeling for me, but it decidedly earned its place on my shelves!
