I’d love to visit this quirky little town Bluebell, with its alarming rate of animal kidnappings😂😂
I know I should have been concentrating on the romance, and I was; it was sweet, don’t get me wrong. But Ziggy, that little fainting goat stole the show. It cracked me up every time.
Taking Caleb back to Bluebell was the best thing Jensen could have done. Surrounded by nature and the love of a good family was sure to prove beneficial. The fierce protectiveness both Briar and Jensen had for Caleb was front and centre and what this little boy deserved.
As for Briar and Jensen, they each had issues and traumas of their own, and were able to help each other come to terms with them. I was a fan of this first book in the series, and can’t wait to read more.

“You’ve stolen my heart, and I never want it back.”
Wrangled Love was my first Ann Einerson book, and oh my, did I loooove it. I have a feeling I discovered a new favorite author. Briar and Jensen's story was a cute one. I loved her friends and the shenanigans they'd get into 🤭 Jensen and Caleb 🥹 Caleb was my favorite part, and seeing him opening up more and more got me teary-eyed. I can't wait to go back to Silver Saddle Ranch!!!

I wasn’t expecting to get my heart torn out reading this but man was this emotional 🥹 I loved this book so much. Jensen is a NYC tech company CEO and he received a phone call that changed his life: he has a 5 year old son and his mom just passed away. With no other family, Jensen now has a 5 year old son named Caleb to care for after not knowing he existed. The way Jensen immediately changed everything for Caleb made me tear up because this poor baby deserves the world😭🥹
Not knowing what to do, he goes back to his hometown in Bluebell Montana to help Caleb adjust to their new life. And in comes our FMC Briar, who agrees to be Caleb’s nanny for the summer. Caleb & Briar’s relationship made me smile so much! I loved their interactions and especially the two of them with the farm animals. Ziggy the goat fainting every time he sees Jensen and Caleb bursting into giggles never failed to make me laugh😂
Briar and Jensen both have parental issues but both found solace with the Halsteads. I loved that they bonded over their similar pasts and resilience in different ways, Jensen moving away to NYC and Briar staying and making something of herself there. Their stolen moments at the carnival (especially the top of the Ferris wheel 🎡🤭) were sweet with some spice and I just loved them together! If there’s one thing I love in a small town romance, it’s a cowboy in some wranglers and cowboy boots with a dirty mouth🤭🥵

If you enjoy the following: single dad/nanny, age gap (24 & 32 so it didn't creep me out), brother’s best friend, fainting goat named Ziggy & a dirty-talking cow boy (spicy ferris wheel ride!!!!!!!)
Jensen finds out he has a 5 year old boy (Caleb) overnight & decides to leave the big city to move home to Montana so he can have support in learning not only how to be a parent but help in guiding Caleb through some traumatic stuff. Briar is the little sister of Jensen’s best friend, and also the owner of the cabin Jensen & Caleb are staying in.
I enjoyed this book. I am new to some cowboy romance, but Einerson does it well I think, showing bits & pieces but making it feel natural & not too cliche. Loved the shenanigans Briar gets into with her friends, one being an animal lover who kidnaps/rescues animals (please see note about the goat above) Definitely recommend as a romance, with a HEA!
Ps. The bonus scene from Caleb’s perspective melted my heart.
Thank you to Luna Literary for the ARC!

I really enjoyed this book, and I think it's got me back into the cowboy romance trope 🤠
There was a great mix of romance, humor, and heart-wrenching growth. Throughout the book, I found myself becoming more and more invested in the main characters' stories, particularly Caleb's. I also found myself rooting for the MCs, both in terms of their personal growth and their romantic relationship.
Speaking about the romantic relationship, there was a phenomenal blend of falling in love and absolute tension. I mean the Ferris wheel scene?! This mixture led to a much more believable romance and one that I felt myself craving and rooting for.
This love for the characters expanded beyond the MCs, and I am now unbelievably excited to read the upcoming books in the rest of the series that focus on the other characters!!
All this being said, I haven't been able to fully put my finger on it, but the ending left me a little disappointed. I think the whole book had been building up to the 'ultimate decision' about whether the romance would continue after the summer, but this was sped through before this climax could be reached. I'm not saying that there should have been a third act break-up or a massive fallout, but I think there needed to be a slightly bigger impact on this turning point.
Overall, a great book, and I am very excited to read the rest of the series!

Yeehaw! I absolutely adore a juicy cowboy romance, and Ann Einerson's new series kicks off with a bang! Briar, Jensen, and little Caleb completely lassoed my heart. This book is brimming with love, emotion, healing, and heart—all the elements I love in a great read.
The fun and flirty banter between Jensen & Briar, their steamy moments, and those quiet times spent chatting on the porch all stole pieces of my heart. The story flows effortlessly, blending humor and tenderness in a way that's both funny and endearing.
The intimacy of their evolving relationship—from playful teasing to passionate chemistry. Their banter is fun and flirty, and the steamy scenes are all full of emotion and growth. You can help but get caught up in their romance. Let me tell you, I will never look at a Ferris wheel the same way again ** swoon** IYKYK
Can we talk little Caleb - this sweetie will steal your heart. Having to deal with a tragedy at such a young age was heartbreaking but watching Jensen & Briar work together to give him space to heal and show him nothing but love and support OMG I could barely handle it!
One of my favorite things about Ann's books is her found family aspect...knowing that family doesn't always have to be blood but will always be the people that will love, trust and support you the most - this book has it in spades!
If you want a sexy small town cowboy romance, wrapped up in heartfelt family dynamics and engaging characters, then Ann wrote the perfect book for you.
