This is one of the funniest books I have ever read. I laughed all the way through. The characters were hilarious. Definitely one of my favorites!
A really fun read! I enjoyed reading it, and being in the mindset of Rachel, she was cool. Lowkey wishing there was an epilogue so I could see if these characters ended up together, but i’m gonna go with, yes they definitely did.

Overall this book is a 3.5 for me. I started reading The Single Girls To Do List with the desire for something fun and lighthearted. In that sense it delivered. Rachel was a fun character and I really enjoyed experiencing her break up journey and watching her grow.
However, the ending ruined the whole theme of the book. What’s the point in writing a book about independence and the advantages of single life if she ends up with another guy at the end? How long was she really single? A month? It would’ve been fantastic if the book had ended with her options open to new opportunities as a single woman!

Rachel doet alles in haar leven volgens een to-do lijst. Maar dat haar vriend plotseling een pauze wil inlassen in hun relatie staat echt niet op haar lijst. En als hij dan 4 weken later ook nog besluit om een definitief einde te maken aan hun relatie is dat een reden voor Rachels beste vrienden Matthew en Emelie om hun eigen to-do lijst voor Rachel te maken, pas als ze die voltooid heeft is ze een echte single. En het helpt haar misschien ook nog met het verwerken van het feit dat ze gedumpt is door de man waar ze van hield.
Hoewel ik een paar hoofdstukken nodig had om echt in het boek gesleurd te worden vond ik het echt een heel leuk boek. Vooral de uitspraken van Rachel zijn soms echt hilarisch. Ook de vrienden van Rachel zorgen voor flink wat leuke momenten. Dit boek is perfect om op een luie middag mee op de bank te ploffen terwijl buiten de regen over de ramen stroomt. Ik had nog nooit een boek van Lindsey Kelk gelezen maar als ze allemaal zo leuk zijn als Rachel mislukte masterplan ben ik zeker van plan er nog meer van haar te gaan lezen. Ze heeft een hele goede schrijfstijl waardoor je, hoe verder in het boek je komt, hoe minder graag je het boek neer wilt leggen. Zeker een aanrader!

Very fun read. A little predictable, but if you are like me, you are rooting for predictable. 😊
