Honestly really more of a 1.5

But it’s 2AM and I just had lasagna, so okay, let’s round it up.

I feel nothing for this book.

This was a terribly fun and amusing book to read. Perfect to consume on my quiet pre-Halloween Sunday!

Okay, so my finger is healed up now, and I can type again! Woot!

So this book was very charming. There were a few flaws, but overall the whole concoction was so hilarious and life-worthy that they quickly lost their focus.

I especially love how unrealistic the whole thing is. Unless you really do make a huge personality change, things like this don't happen to most people. I create an exciting life for myself, mainly because I hate being boring and I want to be the sort of person who has exciting stories to tell, but this book really takes 'exciting' to a whole new level!

(See the chapter where the main character decides to volley off Niagara Falls!)

Anyway, this was a sweet, cute, charming, funny, hilarious, romantic, exciting and cozy book to read. Especially over the long Halloween weekend! (Although, in retrospect, I wish I had spent that time studying xD)

Recommended for chick-lit fans, but also for those looking for a cute story!

This is the perfect holiday read: light-hearted; amusing and fun. The main characters instantly became familiar as friends of the reader. Although, as the title might evoke, the novel lacks some depth, it was still a realistic and relevant account of relationships, friendships and life.

It wasn't until midway through the book that I became invested in Rachel's story. I wanted her to tick all the boxes on her to do list and go on a journey of self-discovery. I also wanted her to realise that Mr Deeply Unsuitable is actually very suitable because not only is he smoking hot but also completely in love with her. An extremely fun read. I want to slowly go through all of Lindsey Kelk's books, savouring these stories. At the same time, I want to binge read all of them. Nevertheless, I'm going to be very happy.
funny lighthearted slow-paced

It's good, but not that special and only up to good. I like the idea of a woman that only knew to be in a relationship all her life finally break free and I like how this book tells story about her coping with the new change, what I don't really like is how cynical she is. And I want friends like Matthew & Em too, without them, Rachel's life will definitely be over.
