I loved re-reading this! When I first read it, I must've been 13 years old. Loads of things flew over my head, and I don't think I appreciated the story as much as I do now. It's reminded me to enjoy being single and to go out and have fun. Sky's the limit. It's so fun and girly and so so quintessentially British. Also felt a bit like opening a time capsule from 2010/2011. Definitely a comfort book.

Well that was fast. In love right away without showing exactly the deets on how it happened. Love at first sight bah. Thats so lazy n it shows lack of plot development. Geez. What pisses me off is that there was such a huge potential for that in this story. Friends. Fun. Travel. Glamorous jobs. Spontaneous whims. Dancing. Athletics.Food. Drama. Comedic honesty. I do like the list. The adventures from the list...aah. I shall try to make one too to push myself to go out n beyond my comfort zone.
Good ‘ol fashion chick lit featuring an endearing 20-something finding herself...and perhaps love along the way....with the help of her two best pals. You totally know what you are going to get with this book. With all the uncertainty in the real world right now, predictable fluff with humor and happy endings seems to my M.O. these days. Who am I kidding? That’s my M.O. almost any day.
A nice fluffy, but sensible read about a girl learning to be single. Love the sidekicks (oh how i wish i had a gay guy best friend) and the other characters, they really added dimension to the story. My favorite part about this book was how sometimes we can start settling for what is comfortable and easy, but maybe not necessarily what brings out the best of us. Rachel's post-breakup perspectives make you want to criticize your own past relationships and focus on what's really an integral part of being in a relationship.

3.5 stars. Not bad. I'd be willing to read her other books.
