this was a brilliant quick read....

Kinsley Has lost her confidence after her mother and sister have slowly chipped in out of her, she takes up sexy cleaning cam....

A misunderstanding happens with her Neighbor (who also happens to be her fantasy crush) and from there you have an incredibly sweet novel unfold...

Kinsley was so incredibly likeable you are rooting for her from the start, Throw in the Multi Layered Atticus... (i mean even the Name is sexy and his interactions with his teenage son were brilliant) and you have a great page turner...

This was my first book by JB Heller so I wasn't sure what to expect. I did enjoy this for the most part, but it took me a bit. Kinsley played games in the beginning and I just wanted her to be real and honest with Atticus about herself and even just her name. Atticus was an alpha male and we all know that I love those.

Once they got to know each other and admitted their feelings, they became a cute couple. I enjoyed them and how their relationship with Atticus's son turned out. He was really the star of the book. He kept me laughing.

All in all, while it wasn't a favorite for me, I am interested in reading more in this series.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

Needed a bit more

So first I'd like to note I was a bit confused, the author uses UK English with terms like lift and crisps, which is fine, but then she starts talking about states and I'm not aware of any country besides the US that has those. Please correct if I'm wrong on that, but if I'm not I feel like as a writer you have to make a choice, basically it's the equivalent of writing the Queen of England and having her eat chips and take the elevator. It just doesn't fit. Lifts in the US are something people put in their shoes to look taller. I'm not exactly sure how they work because I've accepted my plight in life as the short person, but that's how the term is used here. Anyway point being unless you've made a point that your character is from somewhere else than the setting they need to use the dialect appropriate for that setting.

Next we've got the secondary characters, all of whom are one dimensional, there's the snarky and sweet best friends, the beautiful but mean sister and the belittling enabling mother, the sixteen year old son that's too sexed up and the gay assistant. There were a couple more so vague they don't have a descriptor, but the characters I just named are nothing beyond the descriptions I've offered here. There's no depth to any of them.

Finally there's really no conflict in this book, everything that might be conflict is resolved in a page or two with no real difficulty to it. Conflict is what makes a book impressive and page turning and this story doesn't have it, I mean its even got a virgin heroine, so there's no background to build from either.

It's a cute story, but I can't say much more for it.

This book was just really boring to me. A lot of the dialog felt a little awkward, there wasn’t an interesting plot beside two people getting together, and every single one of the characters was just boring. I wish her being a cam girl was incorporated more into the story. If they left that part out literally nothing would change because they never really talk about it again. It’s a pretty quick read that you could enjoy if you’re just looking for something lighter but I guess I just wasn’t in the mood today.

Short and cute

I found this book through a Facebook ad. It was cute and short, with a few smile inducing moments. For some reason, I though it would be longer.

I enjoyed the book before this one but I will not be reading this book as honestly the plot sketches me out a little bit. A single dad falling for the woman his son was caught jacking off to is just disturbing on so many levels I can’t get past it.
