Took me a very long time to finish this book considering I was excited for the release. The one plot takes up the whole book and becomes boring, nothing else’s happens.

The end of the last book ended with Zayden turning and their was no development at all.

Disappointing to say the least.

What it's about:

This book picks up in the aftermath of Iron Flame. Some of the characters have to go on a quest, and new alliances are formed. There are so many secrets revealed.

What I thought:

I loved this book! It was such a fun time, and I loved not knowing what would happen next. The romance was so sweet, and I liked learning more about the surrounding land. There was also a lot of great snarky banter.

⚠️ lots of violence, gore, & swearing

🌶️ quite a lot of explicit scenes, but I was able to skim for dialogue and skip over them

Onyx Storm is another thrilling Yaros novel, and was the much-anticipated 3rd book in the series. After such a long break from the 2nd book, I found it challenging to get into the book because I couldn't remember who was who or why different places were significant. Eventually though, I was wrapped back up in the story and got through it quickly. The ending had me screaming, and I already know I'll be in line for the next book.
