„jestem nikolai lancov, major dwudziestego drugiego pulku, zolnierz krolewskiej armii, wielki ksiaze udovy, drugi syn jego krolewskiej mosci krola aleksandra iii, wladcy tronu dwuglowego orla, niech jego zycie i panowanie beda dlugie” moze znam to na pamiec. ale tylko moze
NARESZCIE TO SKONCZYLAM . PO POL ROKU. i mimo, ze momentami bylo nudno i czasem (za kazdym razem kiedy mal sie odzywal) mialam ochote walnac glowa w sciane, jakos nie mam serca dawac tej czesci (ani zadnej innej ksiazce bardugo) mniej niz 3 gwiazdy. bo mimo wszystko kocham ten swiat. i kocham tych bohaterow (no moze oprocz mala i wazeliny).
za to polubilam w tym tomie troche bardziej aline no i oczywiscie kocham calym sercem postac nikolaia<333 koncowka bardzo dobra, w najblizszym czasie planuje zaczac czytac zniszczenie i odnowe))

I wasn't as invested in this book as the first one. Although I did enjoy reading it, and was quite pleased by it it seemed to lack something. Also I don't really care for the romance in the book. Neither Mal nor the Darkling seem like good choices to me. Check out my full review up on my blog. (Review will be up later today)

OK WOWWWWWWWW, dude who tf said this was boring, I LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT AND I WAS NEVER BORED, this omggg I want to literally go and hug every character in this except of course the darkling, and vasily, I missed these stories so much, I love this universe with literally all my heart and cant recommend it enough. My favorite universe forever <333
Also duh this is a favorite from day one.

I struggle to really connect with the characters in this series, as all but 3 lack the depth to make me sad when they get killed off for some drama. The whole story is also very predictable. 

Again, it was fine - easy to read and didn’t drag. I’ll soon be able to dig into the other (better) books in the Grishaverse and know what’s actually going on!
