This started out a fun and cute read that could've been a complex and interesting story but it was put into an Itty bitty package that makes everything feel super fast paced and 2D. The characters are constantly dwelling on the same internal issues the entire book and then suddenly at the end they have revelations. This was my least favorite in the series so far.
The sex scenes were well written though!

I have never read any of Wendi Gogh's books before. She blessed me with being an ARC reader for this book and it definitely did not disappoint. I devoured this book in less then 24 hours.
It had great world building while being an amazing emotional rollercoaster. The MMC and FMC were afraid to love while being fated Mates but unable to stay away from each other. The spice scenes were perfectly HOT and SWEET. The MMC is a growly cinnamon roll with possessiveness that hits just right. The FMC had personal insecurities and personal growth that a lot of us could relate to.
Some of the vocabulary was difficult to figure out how to pronounce so I am pretty sure I butchered a lot of it lol. However, it did not take away from the story in my opinion.
It was a 5/5 in stars and 4/5 on spice.
I definitely recommend reading this and I will being reading her other two books since I am now hooked!!!! I can't wait to see what else she comes out with!

I chose to read this book because it appeared on my Kindle as a recommendation after I had finished another book. It started out great. I enjoyed it for the most part at the beginning. I will say that there is a pronunciation guide at the beginning of the book, but it only has like four things, which I didn’t feel was necessarily helpful. I started to get irritated with the book a little over halfway through when more places and things were being introduced but there was no guide on how to pronounce it and even if you try to use the translation services within Kindle it says that there’s no word in any language to kind of figure out what it means . I will say that is something that really took away from my enjoyment the second half of the book. To the point that I was questioning whether or not I wanted to finish it. I will also say this is the first time I have read anything from this author. I think there was more on their pronunciation guide or even a glossary of what shit meant I think I would’ve enjoyed it better cause I wouldn’t have spent so much time trying to figure out what this is. I also felt it was completely unnecessary to have our main character kill polar bear in such a graphic manner. Didn’t really add nothing to the plot. I feel like we could’ve addressed it differently.
The stream of consciousness is too immature for me
Wasn't overly intereste in the characters
