This was a great sequel to the first book…. I am obsessed
I really enjoyed watching how Fallon had to come to slowly change her perspective on everything she knew growing up. She realized the fae were actual liars and they were lying to the crows. She also had to come to terms that she had a mate and it was Lor. Throughout the whole book she is trying to reject the mating bond and it’s literally excruciating to read

This series is my new adult fantasy obsession! Love Lorcan and liking Fallon more as she's coming to her senses where Lore is concerned! There are many fun and interesting secondary characters who are coming more and more to life as they are further developed. I love all things Crow; their king, their language, their fairness and respect for one another and how they shun the physical trappings and hierarchy of the fae kingdom.

I forget how much I adore this series. Probably in my top 5. The pacing, and characters make my heart happy. The magic & crow shifters are always so good too. I will say the FMC nativity got a little annoying but she has grown so much….. now. Lore. Ughhhhhhhhhhhh I love Lore.
The ending…. Even rereading it. Mind blowing

Author blew me away. Instead of bypassing long winded paragraphs, I found myself hanging onto every word. Loved everything from the undeniable chemistry amid all characters and the oh so delicious and explicit sex scenes. Can’t wait for book 3.

The Deets: Fallon has completed the first part of the journey she was set on and Lore has been restored. But his homecoming is only the beginning. At times I wanted to shake Fallon, and others I wanted to shake Lore. I’m not a huge fan of the misunderstanding trope so that may be why but honestly why can’t people just talk to each other instead of assuming! Again, enjoying the read and it certainly has increased my interest in continuing the series. This book seems better written than the first - but there are some times where I don’t need as much internal monologue and other times I want more in those dire moments. The cliffhanger I did not see coming though so that was exciting!!! Definitely looking forward to knowing what happens next.

Absolutely gripped. Some details are confusing and hard to follow all plots and connections. Otherwise, I love this story, tge romance, the tension.
I could not follow this story line and was so frustrated with the lack of communication and DNF'd around the 75% mark - right around the time that the FMC got off on MMC's wiry thigh hairs on her nub?? FFS that just hurts to type. There are so many things happening off the pages and the characters are all unlikeable in this book with the exception of the friend who was left behind. The FMC is making decisions with no information while the MMC is emotionally manipulating her. At times the FMC stood up for herself but then just rolled over at his explanation of wanting to prove that mates can't be without each other by somehow letting her think he was engaged to be married the entire book?
