Maybe 2 stars is a bit unfair. I’m enjoying reading this despite every prediction I make being on the dot, and Fallon can be funny when she’s not being a whining child.
I think the power limiters (salt, obsidian, iron) are well-done despite their simplicity. This book legitimately made me laugh but, it’s just so predictable.

I think I had some trouble with this book as it was hard to face the constant miscommunication between the main characters. I was hoping this book would make it easier to connect with the series, but it just made me more hopeful to keep reading and get it over with. The MC still felt a bit childish to me, and the plot/history were so difficult to keep up with. There was just too much going on for me.
This was just incredible! I could not stop listening!!! This book was faster paced than the last and gave much needed growth to the FMC and THE SPICE…..chefs kiss - well worth the wait! I love the banter, the angst, fated mates, mind speak - all so much fun! Also, Feebs for life!
This was ok. It wasn't poorly written, I'm just not invested in these characters. I don't feel like I have any need to carry on with the 3rd book at this point.

Holy balls the ending redeemed the beginning lol. The first half Fallon annoyed the ever loving hell out of me. She was so whiny and hypocritical, I could barely tolerate her 😅 The end though. Oof, I didn't see that coming about the way it did. 🙃

DNF at 82% because I simply couldn't be arsed anymore. The writing was all over the place, Fallon is just a massive dickhead, Lore was ok but wass starting to turn into Rhysand which is incredibly boring. I think I'll stick to Silhara from Master of Crows as my Crow Book Boyfriend thanks.
