this was cute- i feel like you can tell it’s a predecessor to the Brown sisters series. and it does do a 5 year time skip at the end. but they are cute together - earnestly my favorite part was ruth dealing with daniel (the ex).

talia hibbert has been cooking longer than any of us have given her credit for, but i agree intensely w everything above! i love that she makes her dudes pining as fuck

my only thing w this book is i wished we got more dialogue between ruth and evan instead of “they talked for hours”. other than that, i loved it. the plot was a nice add and i’m def reading the second book

That was great! I didn't feel like reading a m/f romance in years, but when Sophie reviewed this it sounded like I really have to read this one and I wasn't disappointed. I could relate to Ruth in some aspects which was great but also a bit terrifying and I loved Evan. I loved how he treated her, how he wanted to get to know her truthfully and not through gossip and his relationship with Zach. I want to know more about Zach, too.

I think I want to read the following books, too. Are they out yet?

I liked a contemporary? Must be coming down with something.
