DID NOT FINISH: 30%

Obviously a group of blog posts tied together into a book. Tired subjects. Often gross or gory but not interesting.

I have a feeling this odd facts are going to stick in my brain for quite a long time. I had gone expecting to be wigged out more than intrigued but I was proven wrong. Erika's writing style was easy to follow even through the science behind a lot of things and her humor curbed the shudders in just the right way. I had a lot of fun reading and have been enjoying disturbing my part we with random 'gory details.'

✨ 4/5 stars ✨

This was an interesting read looking at the gross, dark, and taboo side of science. I read this book for the March book in the Morbidly Curious Book Club. While some topics were gross, repulsive, and dark, others were very interesting and all topics included scientific explanations. Detailed research was included in this book. If nothing else, this book is a good reminder to remain curious and to ask questions, even if it’s about something considered taboo or gross.
