I did not hear of this podcast before I read this book. In fact, I only knew about this book, because of the Morbid Curious Book Club., and I am so glad for it. I learned so much from this book. My favorite parts were about the woman in the 30s who created the dollhouse minatures to help police and medical examiners solve crimes and the clitoris. But I also learned that maggots are a great source of protein, which is highly useful information for the impending apocalypse. This book is not as gory as the name suggests, but there are some disgusting details (cockroaches anyone). And I also love that these books are connecting within the club. You will not be disappointed with the new information.
