Gory Details, A book I picked up by cover alone. Thanks to the Morbidly Curious Book Club™ pick for March 2025.

Science reporter Erika Engelhaupt Shares her insight after diving into the gross strange and morbid observant of our bodies and beyond.

I Love the set up of this book and how it is broken out into a plethora of categories. Steeped in science and facts. I could not put this book down.

This book was very easy to read and wrote in such a way that was not mundane. Definitely an overview of different topics that one could dive more into.

I Loved Erica’s humor in this book the gory topics at hand. The questions that were asked in this book really made one ponder.

The insect chapters were quite eerie and not my favorite, but very taboo and I love how the author brought a different perspective to this.
