This was a bit eh. It builds and builds...to nothing. The big climax is over within a few pages and is such a letdown. Good ideas are there, just needs a lot of work as the idea of the main character was interesting.

🎧 It started off as a fast paced and intriguing in the beginning but then the takes a slower pace. Adult Lissa is less intriguing, where she is a very sinister and creepy character she’s also dull and boring and really repetitive. Sometimes you find yourself liking unlikable characters, but not this time. The outcome was underwhelming and just didn’t really go anywhere. It was only ok.

Eek!! Well this didn’t go the way I thought it would, so exciting! I really felt like I got to know the characters through the authors writing.

I loved Lissa, probably shouldn’t, the underdog killer! I felt so sorry for her. The twists and turns were fantastic.

I need to read the authors previous books.
