This was a goosebumps book that probably would have terrified me as a child- luckily I am not as easily chilled as an adult.
While the writing wasn't extremely polished- it's still good for a quick, middle grade read.

4 stars. I love the stories in the series that have take place at a camp. They’re usually really good and this one was no exception. This was awesome. Harry and his younger brother Alex go to camp Spirit Moon and immediately things get weird. The kids there are jerks and are constantly pulling pranks on them and there’s some paranormal things happening as well. The way everything played out was well done and I loved the ending and how messed up it was. This was definitely one of the better ones I’ve read in the series lately.

I am really into stories about ghosts in this series. Much better than those about monsters.
I wonder who really wrote this, because it was awesome.
(Reread in March 2017)
A fairly solid Goosebumps book. Out of the camp books, if Camp Nightmare and Camp Cold Lake are the best and Camp Jellyjam is the worst, then Camp Spirit Moon is somewhere in the middle. The book seemed a little sparse on actual plot and relied more on generating a creepy atmosphere, which I appreciated.

Though the ending felt like a cop-out.
