The interactions between the main couple were the best parts, however, there really weren’t many of them.
The POV switched often and was not always clear. Everyone has several different names, depending on who’s POV it is which was also a bit difficult to keep straight.
That said, Richard Armitage as the narrator was a delight. Will definitely be looking for his narration of other books.

Do you ever wish Jane Austen was just a bit more chaotic? Do you find Frances Burney a bit much? Then you'll love Georgette Heyer as much as I did! The Convenient Marriage is fast-paced, hilarious, and difficult to put down. I stayed up way too late reading because I had to know what would happen next, and many scenes were surprisingly tense for a regency romance. The ending is abrupt, but satisfying and makes delicious use of dramatic irony - in a fun way!
