Boring and basic. If you are looking for a book about running, or writing, don't read this one.

A fascinating collection of thoughts about running and writing. I love Murakami's style.

I didn’t come here to walk. I came to run.

coming from someone who would nvr go out of their way to start long distance running, this is surprisingly profound. murakami doesnt try to convince his readers to take up running and instead pores on how the experience of running shapes his overview on life and his creativity as a novelist. that being said, this is likely the only book ill ever read abt running
reflective relaxing medium-paced

Would give 2.5 if I could
If you want to read 180 pages of a man boasting about his running and sometimes literary achievements, this is the book for you!
In a wierd way I quite liked it

Murakami was true to his title, in that it really is just a book about running. It's the simple and the mundane moments for which we can all relate to in this life.

3.5 stars

It was cool to hear about Murakami's process when it came to running and training for races/marathons, etc.
