"We went to hell and back, and for this perfect moment, I'd do it again a thousand times."

Oh I really wanted to love this book so hard. I really did because the characters are amazing. But I just came up only really liking this book. And I'm not quite sure if I'm really intrigued enough to continue this story. I guess my main problem with this story is that the thrill, the angst is missing. The prologue, no matter how cute and lovely it is, it just takes away the outcome of the story. At least to me it did. So I knew how the story would end after three books, no matter the story in between.

Nevertheless Dylan Allen with her captivating writing style created again a wonderful couple you can't help but fall for. It was easy to follow Beth and Carter's journey which was spiked with emotion, love and heartbreak.

Between Now and Forever is a wonderful start to the Forever Trilogy that will leave you with your heart beating faster and your mind smiling.

""Baby, real love stories - the ones worth telling - they never end.""

This book is a mess. The characters are weird and immature. They are in their 20s but act like 15 year olds. Everything is so twisted and complicated and so disconnected. The prologue seemed nice, and I wanted to what heartbreak they had overcome to finally have a happy family like that. But this is stupid. I didn’t want to read the second book but after that cliffhanger I’m gonna do some exploring. Then I’m out. Because this book is definitely a waste of time.

Dylan Allen is a great writer and I couldn’t wait for the start of her new series! Between Now and Forever was everything I had been hoping for and more. This one didn’t disappoint at all, I was captivated from start to finish and I need more!!

Beth and Carter were complex and well written, as is always the case with characters from Dylan Allen. They are multi-faceted and you feel like you are living their story right along with them. I felt for them and couldn’t get enough of the chemistry between them. They are everything and I honestly can’t wait for the next installment in this series!

This book was a great introduction to the characters and I am really looking forward to getting to know them more and watching as they grow and things change in the next few books. Dylan Allen is such a talented storyteller and if you haven’t read anything by her before, you are definitely missing out. This book will hook you with the first word and keep you invested in Beth and Carter all the way through. While I don’t always love having to wait for more in a story, I can promise you that it is worth it to take a chance on this book now rather than waiting!

HMMMMM. How should I review this other than noticing that it was poorly edited? I'm fully aware that it's a trilogy however this book is like an introduction of a fucked-up life of Carter and Elisabeth. Didn't even find the connection between the two main characters. The only thing that was good in here was James—Beth's brother—when he was still alive.

Between Now and Forever is the first book in this trilogy and my first ever read from another new to me author. I’ve said it before, it’s always an amazing feeling whenever I meet new authors and consequently fall in love with their stories. Ms. Allen definitely had me with this all-the-feels, angst galore brand new book!

It followed Elisabeth & Carter’s love story and right from the get go, you will feel already that this one will grip and most probably, wrench your heart. Mine did. I felt Elisabeth’s struggles and self doubts right down to my soul, but what I loved the most is how she tried to conquer it. I loved the connection and chemistry between the characters that sizzled between the pages of this book. With the way this book ends, I’m impatiently awaiting for next one to come and could not wait to know how the story will unfold.

Between Now and Forever is an emotional romance that had me sitting on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I devoured this book in one sitting and couldn't read it fast enough. Dylan Allen has some serious super powers when it comes to weaving story that sucks me in and keeps me up until 2 am even when I know I have to get up early and adult the next morning. I am going to need a vacation at the end of this week to catch up on all the sleep I'm going to be missing reading this trilogy because I am already counting down the hours until I can start reading books 2 and 3.

I was entranced by this book from the very beginning. I love how Dylan made such a short book so effective, she effortlessly made every part of the plot effective and to the point. There were so many factors to the storyline and the characters that I was worried I'd be tangled in too many loose threads but everything was so well thought out. She really created some amazing characters that I cannot wait to read more about.

Between Now and Forever was great. It has a feel like a historical romance but it's very much contemporary. There's an ugly duckling vibe to it as well, which I love. It's also angsty, twisty and had me totally invested so much so that I can't wait to read the next book in the trilogy. I highly recommend it.

First book I have read from Dylan. It was enjoyable from beginning to end. Left me hanging at the end with an ending I was not at all expecting. Liz is not living the life that she wants to live. She wants to be loved by her father but instead he shuts her off. She lives with her brother and is on her own so to speak. She doesn't really have any friends to speak of. One night after a party gone wrong she meets Carter who she has instant chemistry with. But the next day something tragic happens that sends her life into a hurricane of events. Will she come out in one piece? Will she be happy once things calm down? Carter is adopted and is not living an easy life. But he believes that things can be changed. Once his father dies he goes looking for his real mother and father. Who is he going to find? Will he meet up with Liz again and be happy ? Or will the truth tear them even more apart? An absolute amazing well written storyline about two amazing characters. I cant wait to read the next one and find out what happens between these two.
