Best of the trilogy in my opinion. More of a plot.
dark emotional mysterious reflective sad tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

The best thing about this book was when it ended, and I could go back to enjoying reading again.

I enjoyed the series!
Points I learned
- completely honesty is important
- you should think of the person you love as the most amazing person
- be rich (take pride in yourself and appearance)

Read in 2012. The conclusion of the trilogy didn’t quite redeem the series for me. I found the plot to be lacking depth, with several unresolved issues that left me feeling unsatisfied. The dramatic moments felt forced, and the character arcs didn’t have the resolution I was hoping for. While there were glimpses of interesting dynamics, they were overshadowed by clichés and repetitive dialogue. Overall, Fifty Shades Freed felt like a missed opportunity to create a compelling and fulfilling ending to the story.

AHHHHHH A THIRD ONE??!?!? This lady fr crazy and freaky cause like, on a boat??
emotional mysterious tense fast-paced
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes

Good God, I wish Ana Grey had a spine for herself! Enough with the over possessive"Mine!" (more than 6 times in the first 4% of the book!!) it was irritating!

That being said, I'm glad to have read the trilogy and equally glad it's over. Now I know what all the hoopla is about, sort of, and I can move on with my life. Because the storyline itself was good and right on with the behavior of one who has been abused, in terms of his insecure nature, but it was nbd otherwise! Very touching ending. :)

Although still good, unfortunately, out of the 3 books in this trilogy, this was my least favorite. By this book, the characters are completely domesticated. I think that too much material was crammed into one book. A lot of time is jumped over and omitted. And in all honesty it gets a little repetitive. The story line does pick up once the Jack Hyde issues develop.

There is also the last section of the book "Meet Fifty" which is written as though he's telling his side of the story from when he first meets Anastasia. This is at the END of this last book. I personally think it was awkwardly placed there. It could have been the opening chapter of book 1, followed by a change of scene page that said something like "3 days ago" and then continue with Anastasia's perspective of everything.

I find it disturbing that I can relate myself with Christian's character lol!
