I was going to give this book 3 stars but I really enjoyed how it ended. I guess I am not much of a romance reader because most of the time I was saying "Hurry up and get to the story." This is a fun and fast trilogy to read.
Had to read the last one (sort of like I had to read the final book of the Twilight series) just to see how it all turned out but can I just say I'm tired of how hot Christian is and how gorgeous Ana is and how they have sex every other minute of the day and night. I very much enjoyed Ana's subconscious and her inner goddess in the previous books but they hardly made an appearance in this one. Glad it's over and they are living sexfully ever after.
Best one yet! Loved the epilogue.....the part from Christian's point of view.
This was the finally book in this series and I think this is my favorite book out of all of them because you see how they protected each other in different ways and will always have each other back during the good and the ugly part and their love for each other will never die and we see how they are as parents and how they fall into love with each other more and more each days. I’m glad the book gave us more details than the movie did in the last couple of chapters because we finally see Christian as a father and now he has a daughter on the way.
After two books filled with Christian and Ana, I have not tired of either of them - Ana's need for a commitment, nor Christian's controlling desires. By the time I was finished with the book, I wanted more, I needed more! I feel as if EL James' writing has gotten better by book #3, yet not the best writing I've ever read. Still this book was filled with plenty of sexual encounters, as well as passion and love, yes ladies... love. There are certainly parts of this book where I was scared out of my mind, wondering what would happen to Christian Grey, wondering whether Ana was safe. It turns out that their fairy tale does come true though - tied together with marriage, honeymoon, and a baby... a baby! I loved how they both had to work at their relationship in order for it to work, altering parts of themselves for the better. Of course the characters in this book were incredible; readers were able to learn the heart of Christian's past, and the real reason why he is the way he is, more about Christian's family, and the way some of his submissives felt. If I was Ana, I would think I could change Christian for the better too, even though she began to accept his 50 shades in the second book, she didn't quite understand them fully until the third. I think this one is my favorite out of the whole trilogy. I may just have to read them again just to be sure though!
Started today (8/8/12) and already I'm rolling my eyes:
I sigh and shake my head. Oh, Christian...my possessive, jealous, control freak Christian. The scamp! Because possessiveness, jealousy, and control-freakishness are, well, just so darned cute!
It's official: I can't do this. The book is excruciating, and I can't even read it as satire. Why people love this series is completely beyond me. And it's funny, too, since they're all "what happened to Christian? He's so bossy now! And Ana is such a wimp!" Because prior to this book his bossiness was sexy, and Ana was just under his spell? No, it's because they've always been written this way by this completely unskilled author. Ana is a moron, Christian is a stalkerish freak, and this series has taken up enough of my time. Horrible, just horrible.

For a romance novel I just don't even feel like reading this drivel anymore but I always finish what I start. This girl is just so stupid that she just gets on my nerves. Selfish big time too. Thank God I'm done reading this crap & can go read more well written stories. Ugh. I wish I could get a refund for the money I spent on this crap.
