This one was a little disappointing for me! There were parts of the story I loved and then I felt like the booked dragged in places. Overall a good read but I think I was expecting more from the Colin/Penelope storyline.

I LOVE this book!! This is my 3rd Read through and it is still one of my favorites in the whole series. The fast paced book really rewards the faithful series readers with this one building on the other. The anticipation going in is always so high and then the book truly delivers the best lighthearted love story that you will swoon over! I can’t gush about this enough. 💗

This book is chef's kiss!
It is beautiful from the start to ending.
Words are not enough to describe just how much I love this book and every character, except of Cressida twombley i hate her!

I miss them already!!

From now on Julia Quinn  is my new favorite author!

This is the first book I've read for the new year, and as someone coming out of a long reading slump, I found it easy to understand and engage with. It also helps that I watched the tv show based on this book to prepare for this book's adaptation, so it was a lot easier to picture most of the characters in the book.

Now for the book itself, I found it fast-paced, enjoyable, and addicting enough that I'm ready to move onto the next one. Is it predictable and cliche in terms of tropes? Yes. But sometimes cliche is what we need to get ourselves through the day and through rough slumps. After all, who doesn't love a good friends to lovers story (or in this case, my best friend's brother to lover)?
