Really enjoyed this engaging YA read. But I don't know that it will stick with me.

i thoroughly enjoyed this book! it's so clear that brittany cavallaro and emily henry had an absolute blast writing this book together—co-writing a book with your best friend? what more could you ask for?
i was hooked from the very first chapter—hooked in a way that i haven't been in a very long time. i loved lucille and winona, as well as their friendship. their love for one another is palpable through the book's pages. i also ABSOLUTELY loved that our deuteragonists were angry. i find it very frustrating to read about wishy-washy, apprehensive main characters, so i very much enjoyed reading from the perspective of ambitious, hungry, unapologetically angry women. like...if your best friend isn't willing to shoot someone in the head for you, they're not your best friend. overall, this story is super fast-paced, witty, and thoroughly entertaining.
is it realistic? no. is it fun? HELL YES!

What even was this? There really wasn’t a point to this book and it didn’t even end nicely. Honestly, it wasn’t that I didn’t like this book but when I was done I was confused about what I just read. This book started out really interesting but so many bad things happened and then it was becoming more and more unbelievable. Then the end with her mom was seriously messed up and then it was just over and nothing was really even solved.
