Nice conclusion to this series!

The whole series reminded me of a combination of Hunger Games and Fifty Shades of Grey.
It's really a sick world where people love to hurt and humiliate people publicly. But those main characters show how you can change yourself and your circumstances with strength and determination.
Would love to read more about Teddy and Lucius!

I seriously wish I didn’t read this series, buuuut hate reading has been a favorite pastime of mine ever since Colleen Hoover’s books came to my attention. If you’re looking for a sadistic, twisted, “dark” (read: humiliation, degradation, violent), erotica Hunger Games, then you’re in the right place. However, if you were looking for any type of substance or romance, please exit.

Third and final book in the Acquisition series and what a read it was. After managing to obtain the first two books through NetGalley and enjoying the series I purchased the third book as I couldn’t wait to read it. The series for me finished with in great style hence my mark of 5/5 stars.

So its a 3.5 star now i finally know the rules, the reason for the acquisition.

What i loved... the plot line side characters capturing the hidden upper class and secret society's associated with them.

Sin and Stella... I loved them but the emotional roller coaster between them was all over the place.

The emotions..... I think they are a little to far fetched hindering the story for me, the whole mental manipulation aspect.... and finding love in captors, not just sin but all members of the household Stockholm syndrome......

But i still enjoyed it.

Rated 4.5 Stars

I'm not ashamed at the rate in which I devoured this book, I read the entire thing in one sitting. I really and truly could not bear to put it down because I needed to know what would happen next and how it would all end.

While I found the ending quite fitting and satisfying there was one question I needed an answer for, it wasn't anything big but I would've liked an explanation all the same.

All in all it was a great read filled with some unexpected moments, some dirty sex and some emotional moments. Kudos to the author for creating a book/series that kept my eyes glued to the page.

This author has become one of my favourites solely off of this series and I cannot wait to see what else she has in store for us readers.

Let me just say this I loved this series in its entirety!!! Celia concluded it fantastically. Though I did want to cringe at the injuries that accrue throughout the trials for the acquisitions. It was so good!!!! I'll admit I love how strong of a person Stella is. And her love for Sin even if he makes me want to strangle him sometimes. Haha. oh well. Anyways. Ya'll need to snatch up this final book in the Acquisition series!!! It won't disappoint!!!
