Honestly, considering the title- I am disappointed by how little was 'fixed' and how quickly the book ended. The two main characters Travis and Georgie both had problems that they were brought up and discussed but nothing was completely resolved. Everything felt jumbled and rushed and barely broken down and completely fixed. Definitely feel like a lot more should have happened and been discussed. Not sure this would be a book I ever re-read.
Cute, fun and sexy. Definitely not safe for a work book group discussion if that’s your thing. But ultimately not that memorable.
3-3.5 Stars
Slow at first, then it got better as the characters interacted , but then everything went way too quickly.
I liked both characters and was interested in their emotional development separately, as well as their chemistry together. Unfortunately in a case of me probably being too picky, I thought the ending was too perfect and wasn’t an appropriate payoff for the story that preceded it. Ironically, if the story had stayed with the slow clip that I found uninteresting in the beginning, and there were a few more scenes of development between the rift and the mend, then I think I would’ve liked this more overall and it would’ve been a solid 4-star read.

Travis and Georgie!!! ugh there's so much to say. I know for some people Georgie's profession was quite silly, but I don't think this book should be taken too seriously with how some issues were portrayed. At the end of the day, it was a funny, sweet rom-com shedding light on the issues of wanting to be more after a short career and wanting to be seen/taken more seriously than just the baby of the family.
You could sense the chemistry between Georgie and Travis right off the bat, and I really enjoyed reading their progression throughout the book. They were able to lift each other up despite how silly some details were.
If you're looking for a fun filled, romance novel, this one won't disappointment. But, like I said, take some things with a grain of salt and enjoy !!!

This book made me feel icky, pedo icky. Big NO.
The whole thing felt old, like a 90s movie with all the creepy, disrespectful, antifeminist vibes. Also, I thought they would fix up a house together, given the title, but they don’t…
I won’t be continuing the series.
