This was a buddy read I didn't finish. I could not get through it my skin was crawling sorry gang

I have been wanting to read this book for a while. As far as romantic comedies go, this is typical with a heavy dose of explicit hotness. To be honest, the characters where well developed and relatable, but the sex scenes felt over the top. This may be my personal taste, but this book would be have the length if there was less description of “events” between the two main characters, Georgie and Travis. There are more stories to come in this series which I plan to try, but I must keep in mind, the intensity maybe the author’s intention.

Thank you Netgalley for this advance read.

It’s a cute enough romance but basically all the male characters were really sexist which sucked tbh.

Also idk I think I’m getting a bit tired of virgin FMCs
getting engaged after dating the MMC for like a month
.

Overall mostly inoffensive and I am going to read the rest of the books in the series.

Edit 9/10/19: after more thought, downgrading to 2 stars.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I liked the story. It was entertaining and smutty. However, I could not stand the attitudes of most of the male characters. I could not stand her brother and some of the things said and thought by Travis. Ugh I just couldn't take it. It was like alpha male-ish and the womenfolk couldn't possibly know their own minds. That bothered me a lot. Then there is the fact that before I read this, I saw a review that said that Travis calling Georgie baby girl all the time bothered them. Which then made me pay more attention to that. It sort of bothered me.

Given my gripes about the story, I was still entertained. The more smutty scenes were alright. Some of the dialogue wasn't for me. It was pretty cute despite everything I mentioned. And I will probably still read others in this series.
