Inez really said I will never learn from a single mistake in my life. 🫠 
I liked the first one better, this one was outrageous and almost every single character infuriated me.

I continued my enjoyment of the blend of historic and fantasy elements in this universe. However, my rating was brought down because I got very tired of the miscommunication between Inez and Whit, and I did not enjoy all of the conniving machinations that led to what felt like a new villain around every corner. Still, the setting was gorgeous, the ensemble cast of allies were great, and I would read more set in this world.
