3.5 rounding down. This story became less enjoyable to me. How Inez is ever able to trust anyone I don't know. It was out of control. And Whit never made up for the deceit. Then in the end, they lost all fun banter. I don't know. It was a let down, but only because I had such high hopes.

Really enjoyed book one but this one did not pull through. The plot was all over the place and it felt like things just happened because the author wanted them to versus building a strong supporting narrative. Also the romance got absurd and unrealistic and not in a fun way.
